I
made the decision to open a solo ophthalmology practice in Tampa,
Florida in 2006. I knew that starting a private practice would be hard
work and was unsure of exactly how I was going to execute it on my own.
Lucky for me I heard about Phaedra Lund and Eye-Advise by my healthcare
attorney just as I was preparing to open my first private practice.
Anyone who has said one person cannot do it all has not met Mrs. Lund.
She helped me navigate through the maze of insurance plans and HIPAA
compliance. She has been invaluable in helping me organize my schedule,
exam forms, exam rooms, and locate quality used equipment. Most
recently she has instituted a chart review for billing compliance.
In
addition to managing my office, she took on the task as a part time
ophthalmic technician until she was able to locate a certified
ophthalmic assistant for my practice. Mrs. Lund speaks her mind and
gives you her honest opinion about practice management issues yet she
is respectful of your decisions.
